We all know that we should have an emergency preparedness plan to ensure that our family knows who to contact, what to do and has the resources needed in an emergency. But have you considered what will be needed after the initial crisis is over? You may need to provide medical information to a new doctor, renew prescriptions, provide information to insurance companies, provide documents to prove identity to receive medical and financial benefits, contact your creditors. A home continuity plan includes the information needed to respond to the crisis (emergency preparedness) and also to recover as soon as possible.
